Jun Kashio joined So & Sato in January 2026 after working at Japanese and foreign law firms. After starting his career, he mainly practiced in M&A, corporate law, and litigation. He then served at the Secretariat of Intellectual Property Strategy Headquarters in the Cabinet Office from 2017 to 2020, and specializes in IP and information law, including AI, copyright, privacy, and telecom. He has experience on secondment to domestic and foreign IT companies and financial institutions.
