We will comply with the Personal Information Protection Law and related laws and ordinances (the “Law”) in relation to handling Personal Information (Kojin Jouhou) as defined under the Law.

3. Purpose of using Personal Information

We will use Personal Information for the following purposes, depending upon the type and content of the information:

(ii) communication in relation to external functions (e.g. seminars) and provision of general informational materials such as newsletters and other correspondence in the ordinary course of business;
(iii) responses to general or specific inquiries regarding our services or operations;
(iv) communication related to purchasing and other transactional matters;
(v)  recruiting lawyers and office staff (“Candidate”), accepting a Candidate’s visit us, sending and receiving communications, conducting the selection process, determining whether to offer a position to the Candidate, conducting personnel management and providing education and training after recruitment of the Candidate; and
(vi) other purposes associated with those listed in above.

4. Management of Personal Information

In order to prevent any leakage of, loss of, or damage to personal information, we will appoint a Chief Privacy Officer and implement information security and other safety management measures.

5. Disclosure of Personal Information to a Third Party

We will not disclose Personal Information compiled in our database to a third party without obtaining the data subject’s prior consent, except where otherwise permissible under this Privacy Policy and the Law.

6. Request for Disclosure, Amendment to and Suspension of Use of Personal Information

If we are requested from a person to disclose, amend, add, delete or suspend the use of or cancel, or stop providing to any third party or give notice concerning the purpose of use of, his/her personal information held by us pursuant to the Personal Information Protection Law, We shall confirm that such person who made such request is the person of the relevant personal information and respond to such request properly in accordance with the Law.
